Oklahoma A+ Schools Application Procedure  

The application process for the 2017-2018 school year is open.

STEP 1
Explore this website for information and call our office if needed at 405-974-3777.

STEP 2
Begin your investigation into what OKA+ Schools can do for your school by sending the Letter of Interest Form to the OKA+ office. This indicates your school’s interest in attending free professional development Pre-Application meetings.  The Letter of Interest is due by November 15 annually, but are still being accepted.

Upon receipt of your Letter of Interest, we will send you information about registering for a Pre-Application meeting, along with meeting location and other information.

STEP 3
Send a team of teachers (5-7), along with your principal, to the Pre-Application meeting to find out more about what membership in the network means.

Pre-Application meetings are half-day events, generally 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, held at venues in either Oklahoma City or Tulsa. Others are scheduled by request.

Pre-Application Meeting 1: December 6 or 7, 2017 AND

Pre-Application Meeting 2: January 24, 2018

STEP 4
Share information, survey your school staff, and secure a minimum of 85% faculty support.

(Pre-Application meetings are designed to assist you in this.)

STEP 5
Complete and submit the application by the due date: February 16, 2018.
