Sandra Kent - Executive Director
Sandra is responsible for the development of the state network, as well as national and international partnerships. She was Oklahoma’s National Distinguished Principal in 2008 and has been an active participant and leading advocate for OKA+ Schools since she brought the first of three schools into the network in 2003. Sandy has no peer in her experience and commitment to the OKA+ Schools’ philosophy and practice.
Rosalynn Wade - Program Director
Rosalynn gives planning and direction to services provided to OKA+ schools, associates and Fellows. She holds an MA in educational leadership from Southern Nazarene University and is an adjunct professor there. Her passion for giving students creative choice and problem solving opportunities comes from her work as a visual art teacher and arts integration specialist for over twenty years.

Saraa joined OKA+ staff in January 2017 and serves as the Development Manager. Spending the last 15 years living between Oklahoma City and Playa Del Rey, CA, she is a proud alumna of the University of Central Oklahoma. Earning her Bachelor’s degree in Education General Studies from the University of Central Oklahoma and her Master’s degree in Mass Communications from Southern New Hampshire University, prior to joining the OKA+ staff Saraa served as the Annual Giving Manager for Mercy Health System and Partner at KAMI Communications PR Agency for 17 years.
Genie Reiman - Regional Coordinator
Genie is the primary contact for schools in the northern and eastern regions of the state. She also directs and designs costumes for several Tulsa area theatres. Genie received her BFA in Theatre from the University of South Dakota and her MFA in Acting/Directing with an emphasis in Child Drama from the University of North Carolina/Greensboro.
Brittany Lee - Regional Coordinator
Brittany is the primary coordinator for schools in the OKC metro area. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Master’s Degree in Instructional Leadership and Curriculum from the University of Oklahoma. She has over 10 years of experience in early childhood education and absolutely loves nurturing and educating young minds.
Mary Howell - Regional Coordinator
Mary is a regional coordinator for schools in the central part of the state. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Oklahoma. Mary has 10 years of teaching experience in a middle school setting, and she enjoys using that experience to assist her schools.
Audrey Charlson - Project Specialist
Audrey joined the OKA+ Schools staff in August 2015 as the Executive Office Assistant and in January 2017 has taken on the role of Project Specialist. Before coming to OKA+ she worked at The Oklahoman for 10 years. Raised in Iowa, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Iowa, had lived in Scottsdale, Arizona for several years, and then relocated with her family to Oklahoma in 2003. She is excited to be a part of UCO and the OKA+ Schools team.
Therese Underwood - Administrative Assistant
Therese came to the OKA+ staff in January 2011. She is retired from Southwest Airlines and is very happy to be working with OKA+ Schools. She truly enjoys working on the great UCO campus and being with educators who are committed to nurturing creativity in all aspects of education.
Jean Hendrickson - Director Emeritus
Jean served as the Oklahoma A+ Schools Executive Director for 11 years and is now in a consulting role as she continues to support A+ through network and program development.
